자연 호수가 댐 건설로 인해 확대되어 현재의 마루누마가 되었습니다. 마루누마 지역을 상징하는 간토 북부 지역의 최고봉인 닛코시라네산(2,578m)은 일본의 100대 명산 중 하나로 등산 팬들에게 인기 있는 산입니다. 주변에는 여러 개의 외륜산과 호수가 있습니다. 멋진 경관과 다양한 고산식물이 관광객들을 매료시키며, 가을에 물드는 단풍이 절경입니다. 낚시와 스키, 온천까지 즐길 수 있는 마루누마 지역은 그야말로 자연을 만끽할 수 있는 곳입니다.
신록부터 단풍, 스키까지 1년 내내 즐길 수 있는 로프웨이. 신록의 계절, 등산, 단풍 구경, 스키를 연중 즐길 수 있습니다.
혼슈에서 가장 높은 투명도를 자랑하는 에메랄드 그린 빛 수면이 아름다운 마루누마, 스가누마 호수. 호수면에 비치는 원시림이 우거진 대자연을 만끽할 수 있는 SUP투어도 체험할 수 있습니다.
따끈따끈하게 구운 옥수수. ‘옥수수 길’이라 불리며, 특산물인 버섯이나 옥수수 등 제철 농산물을 판매하는 노점들이 즐비합니다.
